Muslim Prayer Centre

The Muslim Prayer Centre functions as an essential anchor for the Islamic community across Gqeberha and the surrounding areas. Congregants rely on it for five-times-daily salah, especially when work or family schedules complicate prayer at home. Beyond prayer, the space hosts Qur'an study circles, Islamic education for children and young people, and provides guidance on matters of halal food, marriage, and estate planning in accordance with Shariah. During Ramadan the centre becomes a hub for iftar gatherings and nightly Taraweeh prayers. The centre also connects families with counselling and welfare support, and organises community engagement with schools and interfaith forums to foster understanding in the city.
