The difference between a competent event planner and one who truly understands the work comes down to what they ask before you book. Do they probe your audience—size, behaviour, dietary needs, mobility? Do they ask about your non-negotiables versus your flexibility? Do they pressure you toward their vendor list or explore what actually suits your needs? Do they have contingency plans written down, or are they winging it? Lecture 15-16 builds credibility by showing their thinking: what questions they ask, how they document decisions, and what they verify before the day arrives. Competence in event planning isn't flashy—it's methodical, informed, and rooted in experience.
