Bosmont Masjid

Bosmont Masjid anchors Muslim life across multiple dimensions in its area of Soweto. For many families, it's where children attend weekend madrassah (Islamic school), learning Quran recitation and Islamic values alongside their regular schooling. During Ramadan, the masjid becomes the centre of community rhythm—organising iftar (breaking of fast) meals, taraweeh prayers in the evenings, and iftikaar (Quran recitation competition) for youth.
